Keeping Babies Cool In The Summer

First of all, chubby baby arms - too much. The chubbier the baby, the cuter they are yet adults are the opposite, hardly fair.

We have recently experienced a heat wave here in Ireland and as glorious as it has been, trying to keep Finn cool during the night needed some adjusting.
We've been keeping him during the day well enough.

Sleeping Through The Night Breakthrough

"Is he sleeping through the night yet?"
No, he is not. It's obviously not as bad as when he was a newborn, waking every hour or sometimes every half hour. But he still often wakes twice through the night.

Seven At Seven (Months)

1.    “Oh no, why’s he crying? What’s wrong with him?"
I don’t know, I’ve never had a baby before, he’s only two days old and he doesn’t tell me things when we’re alone. Like I’m not already sh*tting myself with a brand new baby, I don’t need more questions fired at me, I need the answers!

My Saturday Nights Have Changed

Pros – Prosecco doesn’t go cold like a cup of tea.
Cons – You’re screwed if your baby cries and your nails are still wet, such a pity.

Morphe Brushes 35B Color Glam Palette

My family and friends still get that 'deer in the headlights' stare every time they see me using this palette. Up until recently I've been known to stick brown matt shadows, sometimes dabbing on a bit of black if I was feeling more adventurous.

Help Tying The Knot

One of my very closest friends asked me a very special question this weekend.
It was almost like a proposal. She told me she had something to ask, then set a small, beautiful silver box down in front of me.

She asked me to 'help her tie the knot'. Now I'm not a crier (except when pregnant) but a tear or three did escape.
I love her idea of asking this way, it was so unique and sweet.

Now to start the bachelorette party planning, as well as the diet...!!

Started From The Bottom

So I’ve just spent the best part of two hours trying to put my seven month old down for an overdue nap. From lying beside him humming nursery rhymes, to walking around the kitchen table with the hoover on in the background.
Now that he has finally gave up, I decided to give this blog writing a go instead of tackling the full wash basket or the dog hair covered floors (it’s fast turning into mini tumble weeds, I do love when my big fur ball loses his winter coat in July...).
So I guess this is sort of an intro. I’ll mostly be rambling on about my journey on being a first time mum and possibly throwing in some beauty related posts here and there.
